Funeral service for Nona Geraldine Cobb 3 PM Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Steve Ciaccio officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 AM until service time in the funeral home. Ms. Cobb, 72, of Natchitoches, La., died Sunday, August 2, 2009, in her residence at Natchitoches, La. She was a native of New Orleans, La. She was a former elementary school teacher for Natchitoches Parish School Board and formerly worked at Northwestern State University. She was a member of Victory Assembly Of God Church. She enjoyed sketching and art work she was volunteer at the Natchitoches Women’s Resource Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil Benoit Cobb and Elizabeth Geraldine Cobb. She is survived by one brother, Kenneth Cobb of Natchitoches, La.; three nieces, Karen Rollo and husband Steven of Richardson, Tx., Katherine Buffel and husband Kevin of Jacksonville, N.C., Carolyn Pearson and husband Tommy of Little Rock, Ar.; one nephew, Mark Cobb of Little Rock, Ar.
