Eva Lee Ivey

Funeral services for Eva Ivey, 100, of Natchitoches, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Burial will follow at the American Cemetery. Mrs. Ivey passed away June 17, 2009, at her residence in Natchitoches. She was born Dec. 19, 1908. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches, the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, the American Cattlewomen's Association, the Natchitoches Service League and the Natchitoches Historical Society. She is preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Horace Clifton Ivey; and sister, Rita Brown Jordan. Mrs. Ivey will be greatly missed by her many cousins and friends to whose lives she brought great joy. Pallbearers will be Bill Brown, Jim Brown, John Duco, Len Gray, David McDonald and Steve McDonald.
