A service to honor the life of Mrs. Mable Driskill will be at 2 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Christian Harmony Baptist Church in the Pace Community with Bro. George Holland officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends after 5 pm on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Christian Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Driskill, 92 years of age and a resident of the Pace Community, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Bossier City. She was born September 3, 1922 to Clarence and Luella (Waters) Desadier. A life-long resident of the Pace Community, she was an active member of Christian Harmony Baptist Church her whole life. She was proud to make a home for her family and cared for others before attending to her own needs. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Falcon Frederick and Leroy Driskill; sons, Gene Frederick and J.C. Frederick; brothers, Otis Desadier, O.C. Desadier, and Henry Desadier; sisters, Ole Mae Collum and Mildred Federick; and a grandson, Ronald Frederick. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Hazel Barnet; and grandchildren, Johnny, Kim, Angel, Danny, Tina, Debra, Joy, Charles, Tonya, and Timmy. She was blessed with 24 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Frederick, Johnny Frederick, Timmy Frederick, Morgan Sessions, Rodger Collum, Shannon Collum, Buddy Hays and Tad Desadier
