John Lester Paddie

Funeral service for John Lester Paddie will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Deacon Joe Peltier officiating. Burial will be in Flatwoods Cemetery in Flatwoods, La. with Naval Graveside Rites. Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Paddie, 81, of Gorum, La., died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pineville, La. He was a native of Gorum, La. He was a retired painter and a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by one son, Cannon Paddie and wife Trina of Gorum, La.; four grandchildren, Catherine Paddie, Carmen Paddie, Caleb Paddie, and Craig Paddie.
