Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Straham Martin, 87, of Auburn will be 10 AM Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Blanchard-Saint-Denis Chapel in Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Monday February 14, 2008 from 9 AM unitl service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Martin, who died Sunday February 10, 2008 at EAMC, was born March 30, 1920, in Texas. Mrs. Martin had been a resident of Opelika since 1980. She was an active member of Opelika's First Baptist Church and Auxillary of East Alabama Medical Center. She is survived by 3 Daughters; Betty (Dutch), Higginbotham-Auburn Al.; Doris Horne, Oxford, Al.; Nina Hollingworth-Auburn, Al. 1 sister-in-law, Cheryl Gry Martin, Bossier City, La.; 1 sister, Doris Tomlin, Center, Tx,; 9 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren.
