Judy Ann DeMattie

Funeral service for Judy DeMattie will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 24, 2007, with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Graveside service will be 1 PM Saturday, March 24, 2007 in Alexandria Memorial Gardens in Alexandria, La. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday, March 24, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. DeMattie, 64, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Alexandria, La. She was a Preschool Teacher for Childen's Place in Alexandria, La. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a former member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Alexandria, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, James DeMattie; brother, Terrell DeVille; parents, Irvin DeVille and Adine Lemoine DeVille. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Long and Michelle DeMattie both of Natchitoches, La., and Christine Moresi of New Iberia, La.; two sons, Keith LaBorde of Alexandria, La. and James DeMattie, II of Pollock, La.; one sister, Vivian Descant of Bunkie, La.; one brother, Marion DeVille of New Orleans, La.; eleven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Martin, Bill Cornell, Shawn Moran, Roy Abrams, Warren Woods, and Chris Bullock.
